Rules and code of conduct
Summary of additional rules and conditions of use of the hotel:
- Check-In, IDENTIFICATION and Check-Out: Check-in must be after 3:00 pm. You must provide your passport at check-in and exact dates of your stay to the receptionists. Arrival and departure dates must match the dates of your reservation made via our official OTAs (Online travel agencies) or booking platforms. Check-Out must be before 12:00 p.m.
- REGISTRATION BOOK: As part of the immigration regulations of our country, private landlords are obliged to have an updated registration book. In this book the guests are registered with personal data at the moment of their arrival during the Check-In.
- RESTRICTIONS FOR CUBAN RESIDENTS: Considering that the property is subject to inspections and migratory controls by our local authorities, the lodging is not contemplated for Cuban citizens residing in Cuba who have not previously booked through our booking platforms. The above does not apply to guests traveling from abroad to Cuba. The use of the room for the exercise of activities that facilitate, promote or encourage human trafficking (sex trade or prostitution) is prohibited, in case we have evidence that such activities are being conducted, we will report them immediately to the police and will unilaterally terminate the reservation, without the right of the guest/s to reclaim their stay or previously booked services.
- SILENCE HOURS: In our hotel we have other rooms and most likely at the time of your stay there will be other guests. In order to guarantee and respect the well-deserved rest of all guests, we ask for strict silence between 11:00 p.m. and 06:00 a.m.. During this time it is not allowed to play music, talk loudly, or introduce new guests who have not been previously registered by our receptionists.
- ROOM CAPACITY: A maximum of 2 people are allowed to stay in each room. In previously authorized cases additional guests are admitted for a supplementary cost per night.
- FOOD PREPARATION AND CONSUMPTION: It is not allowed to use the kitchen of the property, nor to prepare and consume food inside the rooms without prior authorization from the hotel staff. In case you have certain dietary constraints or preferences, please consult our staff prior to your arrival to help you offer your required meals.
- 24/7 CUSTOMER SERVICE: Regular working hours of our reception are from 07:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and during the early hours of the morning will remain at your disposition. If you plan on arriving at the hotel between 07:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., please ring the bell at the entrance door of the building (RECEPCION). If you wish to enter the hotel after 11:00 p.m., please ring the bell (PORTERO) at the entrance door of the hotel. For your own safety, guests are not provided keys to the entrance door of the building.
- FORCE MAJEURE AND EMERGENCY: In case of an event of emergency, you must call the receptionist on duty by pressing the bell located at the entrance door of the dining room door to ask for help, call an ambulance or firefighters.
- NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms, in the bathrooms, in the living room or dining room of the house. The rooms, including the dining room, are equipped with smoke detectors that will trigger an alarm. Smoking is only allowed in areas such as the balcony and/or rooftop terrace. Please strictly adhere to this rule.
- VIDEO-SURVEILLANCE: For your security the property is equipped with a CCTV video-surveillance system. The entire hotel is monitored including common areas such as the front door, staircase, hallways, living room, dining room and rooftop terrace - but not inside the rooms and/or bathrooms. It is not allowed to touch decorative objects or take them home for personal use or souvenirs unless otherwise authorized. In case of any damage or loss of a decorative item, its value will be calculated in EUR/USD and has to be reimbursed in cash before Check-Out at the front desk.
Failure to comply with these rules is considered a violation of the hotel's rules and code of conduct. Any type of non-compliance would be grounds for early cancellation of your reservation subject to the cancellation policy, without prejudice to refunds and possible penalties by the local authorities.
